Global Privacy Control enables websites to offer different degrees of tracking on their pages. The solution is based on a browser setting that allows users to block such data, and it allows websites to offer that service to the browser.
If the browser will start tracking users and their activity, they will be informed that it is possible to get the data again. The websites can decide if the data should be saved in the browser or if it should be shared with the users. The setting is persistent and will stay in place for the rest of the session.
